Manchester United will face competition from Juventus and Liverpool for the signature of Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to reports from Italy.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to have placed emphasis on signing a right-sided winger ahead of next summer, with Jadon Sancho seen as the main target.
However, along with Wilfried Zaha, Torres is viewed as a potential candidate who will be much cheaper to sign.
According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, both Liverpool and Juventus are also interested in the 19-year-old.
It is claimed that Solskjaer wants a right-sided player whose qualities complement the defensive approach of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United have been linked quite heavily with a few Valencia players: on top of Torres, United are said to be monitoring Carlos Soler (a target since 2017) as well as left-back Jose Gaya, with Ashley Young now in what must be his final season at the Theatre of Dreams.
One way or another, though, it seems as if United will place emphasis on adding a player capable of attacking down the right for the 2020-21 season.
