Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic are all unavailable for Manchester United’s meeting with Sheffield United on Sunday.
Pogba’s problem dates back to prior to the September international break, and while it was initially thought that he could return for Sunday’s game, Solskjaer’s latest comments suggest that he could be out for another month.
Solskjær: "He’s [been] out for six or seven weeks. You do lose loads of muscle so he’s gradually now stepping up walking on the treadmill, biking. It’ll still be a few weeks. We hope to see him in 2019, yeah." #mulive

Moreover, McTominay, one of United’s best players this season, appears to still be feeling the effects of an injury sustained during the 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Matic, on the other hand, has been sidelined with an unspecified issue since that horrible 1-0 defeat to Newcastle ahead of the October international break.
A midfield problem for @ManUtd on Sunday. "McTominay, Pogba out. Matic fit but maybe not matchfit." Rojo also ruled out.

Having confirmed that all three are unavailable for Sunday, Solskjaer has a real selection headache ahead of what will be a highly challenging affair against a side currently fifth in the Premier League.
Fred, of course, will be involved, as will Andreas Pereira, potentially playing a deeper role than normal. Maybe Axel Tuanzebe, if he is fit, can play in that role?
Either way, Solskjaer must be astute with his selections or face being overwhelmed at Brammal Lane.
