Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to complete a deal for Nemanja Matic in the January transfer window.
The midfielder, plagued by injuries this season, has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Over at Spurs, however, he would find his good mate in Jose Mourinho, who bought Matic at both Chelsea and United in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
According to Bleacher Report, Spurs want to do a deal for Matic, who is valued at £15m, with United open to selling the player to Spurs.
Tottenham are interested in signing Nemanja Matić in January. He's allowed to leave and #mufc have no problem with selling him to a rival. The club are pushing a £15m fee to interested parties, but would accept less to sell him #mulive [br]

This would be a highly surprising transfer given that Solskjaer, not long ago, laughed off this very prospect, while initial reports insisted that Matic was not a target for Spurs. It does not take an ‘exclusive’ to reveal that Matic is hardly the kind of player that the North London club would recruit.
Matic even joined in on the jokes about him joining Spurs last month, but the idea of him actually moving there is a bit much, don’t you think? Unless, of course, this joke gets repeated so often that it becomes real, which is exactly how we ended up with Trump.
