Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has hit back at his critics following another match-winning performance vs West Brom.
The Portuguese magician converted from the penalty spot to hand his side a meek 1-0 victory over the relegation candidates.
Bruno has received plenty of praise from United fans this season but it’s safe to say rival fans refuse to give him credit.
The former Sporting Lisbon man has adjusted to life in the Premier League superbly, driving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men to a third-place finish last season after joining in January.
No one anticipated Bruno would settle in so well but there are those who feel he is overrated despite his obvious talent.
Fernandes on scoring 50% (7/14) of his PL goals for #MUFC from the penalty spot: "People criticise this situation saying, 'penalties, penalties'.
"I've seen a lot of teams losing finals – World Cup, Euros, Champions League – on penalties, it is an important part of the game."

Bruno’s words are clearly born out of frustration but what he says is true, particularly since the team won all three points because he converted his effort.
It’s also dismissive of the playmaker’s talent to insist he’s nothing more than a penalty goalscorer and his other statistics would prove that.
Either way, Bruno has been talismanic for Manchester United since joining and they will need him to keep up his fine form if they’re to enjoy any success this season.
Their inconsistent start has seen them get off on the backfoot and so they will now need to build some form of momentum to rocket up the league table.
