My name is Liam. Been supporting United for 30+ years now. Earliest memory was the 1985 F.A cup win. From N.Ireland so seeing Whiteside score that day was amazing and of course one of our greatest George Best was from close by. I met him once, or should I say, I was in the same pub as him in 1996ish, was too start struck to talk to him. Been to old Trafford a few times but not recently. The last time I was there Eric the King was playing.

I live in the States now, been here 20 years.
Welcome Liam. There's plenty of stateside reds aren't there? A lot of Irish actually. Still not been myself.

Hey guys, Bill from Athens, Greece, huge United fan since 1993-94.

Many thanks to Sam for this forum and the YouTube channel of course, great content and analysis of our team’s news, games etc.

It is very easy to panic and spread toxicity towards everyone, but staying in focus, criticizing the right people/tactics/ajendas/etc with a constructive way is the best solution right now, without resorting to extreme reaction that may hurt the team or the fans. And that is what the youtube channel does and many cheers for it!

Unfortunately i have never been able to see United in a game, as the 2-3 times they came in Athens i was still at school in Crete.I missed my big chance when i studied my Msc in Aston University back in 2010 when a last minute exam made me sell my ticket of Villa vs United (0-0 if i remember correctly). I visited afterwards Manchester 2 times, went to the Old Trafford for a tour but i never got the chance (money to put it more correct) to get a ticket for a game. Anyway, fingers crossed for the future!

I grew up loving class of ‘92 and especially Paul Scholes, i have a Roy Keane and Ole kit of the tremble season, i loved Dennis Irwin and always considered him the best left back i have seen in the Premier League era, but i have to say that i started loving United and football in general when i first saw Eric Cantona. To me, he will always be the King, the man who embodied everything i love in this club to the fullest.

As for nowadays, United seems to have been trapped between its own colossal marketing brand. The team was directed for years as a brand and afterwards as a football team. Enormous contracts were paid, players were bought due to their marketing value, bad decisions were made regarding the rest of the squad etc... i stay with Ole apart from his mistakes -everyone has to start from somewhere and at least he loves the club and deals with a very poor selection of players right now-, but he needs to find a way to make the team play at least as good as they did the first half of his last season, as soon as possible.
Apart from that, a sporting director is a necessity, the departure of Ed and his replacement from a capable Vice Chairman and ofcourse Glazzers out.

Unfortunately i believe that we might have big changes at the club, only the minute Glazzers start to lose money and try different approaches to ensure revenue from the club.

Anyway thats some thoughts for an other topic, glad to be here guys and in advance pardon my english for any mistakes :p

Cheers, GGMU!!

Hi everyone,
My name is Abhishek. I am from Jammu, India. To be honest, my interest in Football developed 2-3 years ago when Chelsea won under Mourinho. I supported Chelsea then. But then i got some knowledge of football & came to know about the rich heritage & legacy of ManUtd, there was no looking back. Been an avid Utd supporter since last season. I like CR7 and Keane, Keane mainly because of his personality. Looking forward to be in this group.
Cheers all !

Hi everyone, my name is owen. I am from Hong Kong. I've been a united fan since 2012 ish(can't remember accurately). My favourite united player is Chicharito. Seeing my favourite team falling back is heartbreaking, just hope the club can bounce back quickly.

Oh yeah, there are United supporters clubs in every city. I used to go all the time and the atmosphere in those places are crazy. Probably not so much these days with what we've be subjected to. I'm in Boston so there's loads of Irish here too. If you ever come to Boston theres plenty of United bars to watch the games.

New to your forum. Lifelong (52) United fan from Belfast now living in the States. Like many of us fans, I was there when we struggled through the pre-SAF years, and reveled in the glory years. And like all of us, I’m struggling again. The difference between those pre SAF years and now was that for all of the lack of trophies, outside of the odd cup, we had a style of play that has vanished in recent times. I don’t recognize the United team post SAF. I know ownership is awful but on the field we are unrecognizable. I think we did a great club servant a massive disservice appointing him. He was never qualified for the job and it was an emotional decision coming on the back of Jose’s erratic term in charge. I’m fearful that ownership will continue to only focus on the bottom line and not the field of play. Help! 😉

I represent Devils.Forum. I have been following Manchester United for a greater part of my life. Dimitar Berbatov was my recent favorite player at the club due to his unorthodox style and genius on the ball. Been following United Peoples TV for several months and quite religiously. Great work there Sam.

At my own scale, I run The Scoreboard; An Unofficial Manchester United Fans Prediction Game on instagram.com/devils.forum.
I also post weekly Pros and Cons and detailed opinionated analyses of everything Manchester United. This is not publicity. Just don't know what else to say.
