PICTURE: Dortmund begin charm offensive to bring Kagawa back to Germany

Borussia Dortmund have released a book in their shop to commemorate the 25 most memorable games played in Signal Iduna Park, previously known as Westfalonstadion, since they moved there way back in 1974.

Over their 40 year history, Dortmund has had some very memorable moments in their home stadium least not their golden period back in the 1990s where they won the UEFA Champions League but despite that, a picture of Kagawa, Klopp and Hummels has been used on the front cover.

It may simply be pure coincidence but it is common knowledge that Dortmund are still fond admirers of the Japanese playmaker.

kagawa-bookJurgen Klopp has kept name dropping Kagawa every so often over the course of the past 14 months and seems to talk about him more than Sir Alex Ferguson or David Moyes ever has, and it is widely believed that Dortmund are going to make a move for Kagawa in the summer.

Robert Lewandowski is leaving and with Ilkay Gundogan so far not signing a contract extension, they may be left without both and will need to strengthen with new players – who better than to re-sign Kagawa who is still adored by Dortmund’s fans?

He still hasn’t settled at United given his lack of playing time and if he was to leave, Dortmund would likely be his first choice but is there any chance of Moyes letting him leave?

Do you think Shinji Kagawa will leave Manchester United this summer?
