Evra wants a repeat of the 2008 triumph in Moscow

I have always been a big fan of how Evra portrays himself in the media as a truly loyal Red and he has come and done it once again. Patrice has spoken out and given his personal approval to the new arrivals at Old Trafford, citing that they will be a great addition to the squad and will all play their parts as United look to triumph in Europe once again:

“I think they are great signings. We will give them all a nice welcome. I think they’ll be important and I’m very confident about the future.

After losing the 2009 and 2011 finals to Barcelona, Patrice doesn’t want a repeat of it in the future as United look to secure their fourth Champions League in their history. Having reached 3 finals out of the past 4 years, it is only Barcelona that has stood in the way of United absolutely dominating both Domestic and European competitions but he is looking towards the future and feels confident going into the next campaign:

“After we lost the Champions League final, I said we had lost just a game but I’m confident about the future, especially with our great new signings, and I think we are going to win it next year.We hope to retain the title, but also to win the Champions League.”
