It didn’t take long for Federico Macheda to get the transfer muppets going wild after he was confirmed as the real Macheda by Rio Ferdinand this afternoon. He tweeted that he ‘ hoped to see Wesley Sneijder here [Manchester United] soon’; now, for me, this is just a young lad simply stating that he would like to see a world class player at his team but I am sure that SAF will use this as another case against his players using twitter. It didn’t take long for the tweet to get taken down but that is the beauty of a print screen! If anybody wasn’t in the know at United it would be Macheda, considering he spent all of last season away on loan. Still, might be a Freudian slip.
