Manchester United have been handed a home tie against Newcastle in the third round of the newly named Capital One Cup.
The last time these two teams met at Old Trafford the score finished 1-1 in the Premier League after a terrible refereeing decision allowed Newcastle to equalise from the spot.
United are typically strong in the tournament having won it three times in the last six years.
The fixture will be played in the week commencing 24 September between Premier League fixtures away at Liverpool and home to Tottenham Hotspur. However, as it is the League Cup, we would be unlikely to field our first team players anyway.
The Capital One Cup will be a chance for our youngsters to get some valuable game time. With promising talents like Larnell Cole, Davide Petrucci and Ryan Tunnicliffe all trying to impress Sir Alex this season, it will be a great opportunity to showcase their abilities.
