Dimitar Berbatov has now been officially unveiled as a Fulham player on a two-year deal having joined the London club for a reported bargain £4 million.
The Bulgarian will become the highest paid player in Fulham’s history and I wish him the best of luck at the club.
He might not have had the glittering career at United that everyone expected after his £30.75 million move but I think it was simply a case of the right player at the wrong club.
Martin Jol hasn’t done bad at Fulham really. He replaced Zamora and Johnson with Petric and Berbatov. Smart man.
