Manchester United loan watch – Progress report

By John de Loos

Reece Brown was handed a start for Coventry City as they took on Carlisle United at home. Reece Brown played the full 90 minutes for Coventry City but he was unable to prevent his side from losing the 1-2 to Carlisle United.

His performance earned him the plaudits of Coventry City manager Mark Robins. He said:

“With the influx of new players and young players, we need to start to give them that guidance on how to perform to their best ability.

“You need to be a man in this game. I think Brown did well today. He stepped up to the plate and he has won some good balls in the air with his distribution being pretty good as well.”

John Cofie started the Sheffield United vs Yeovil town game on the bench, the second game in a row he has started from the bench. Unfortunately, he remained an unused substitute as they won the game 0-1.

Ben Amos played the full 90 minutes for Hull City as he conceded a hattrick from Leicester City’s David Nugent. Hull City lost the game 3-1 to Leicester City.

Luke Giverin played the full 90 minutes for Royal Antwerp whereas Gyliano van Velzen played 85 minutes from the start of the game, after which he was substituted. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
