Javier Hernandez. Without a shadow of a doubt. Tonight was arguably his finest performance in a Manchester United.
Did he do anything wrong? He was everywhere and simply didn’t put a foot out of place. His well taken equaliser got United back into the game and if not for a ludicrous offside decision, he would of had two before the break. He netted his second to put United 3-2 up when he latched onto Cleverley’s sublime cross.
But it wasn’t just his goals – it was a real complete performance from him. My moment of the match was his fight for the ball on the touch line, beating two Braga players despite being grounded at one point before sprinting off and curling an outside of the foot ball to Nani.
Plus – was he offside at all in the game? If you minus his disallowed goal which was onside on the replays.
Surely he has played his way into the starting line up against Chelsea on Sunday? Especially when you consider his record against them.
