Sir Alex Ferguson has today been named the Premier League manager of the month for October on his 26th anniversary as Manchester United manager.
It was richly deserved after three wins from three including tough trips away to Chelsea and Newcastle marked a fantastic month of results in the Premier League for United.
26 years ago today, Sir Alex Ferguson was appointed Manchester United manager. He has since gone on to win 37 trophies and still remains hungry to win more.
No words can really describe just how important Sir Alex Ferguson has been not only to the rise of Manchester United but the Premier League in general. He has masterminded successes on a scale beyond comprehension and few can argue against his place as the best manager of all time.
With Manchester United sitting atop the Premier League before January, we are certainly looking good. Normally the slow starters, our flurry of goals has bridged over the gaps left by our unpredictable defence and if we can gain some stability on the back, who is to say that this year won’t be Manchester United’s magical 20th title.
