Molde defender Vegard Forren has just arrived in Manchester Airport tonight ahead of a proposed move to Liverpool tomorrow.
Everton were strongly considered to be Forren’s probable destination and now that he has landed in the North West, it is sure to be one of the Manchester or Liverpool based clubs.
With rumours spreading that Vidic has suffered another injury set back as well as Evans’ hamstring injury, United are once again looking short in terms of centre back cover. An ageing Ferdinand alongside Smalling and Jones does give us ample options but with all three spending time on the sidelines recently, another injury could leave us in crisis.
Signing a promising centre back, given our defensive troubles this season, wouldn’t be out of the ordinary. Keep checking in with The Peoples Person to see the latest news on this Forren move.
Although missing out on Forren wouldn’t be too troublesome, knowing that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sold his player to Liverpool would be.

UPDATE: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now confirmed that Forren is on the verge of signing for Southampton, not Liverpool.
“We’ve more or less agreed with them, but nothing is 100% confirmed. We’re close to a deal,” he said.
