Last night, David de Gea and Shinji Kagawa hit the town together as their burgeoning friendship continues to grow. The pair were snapped whilst out in Manchester (Kagawa looks like he is having more luck).

I spend a bit of time with David De Gea because I take English classes with him. I’m working hard to study English so I can communicate better with my team-mates.” Shinji Kagawa
It seems that the English classes have brought them closer together as friends and it is great that they can have a friend in the squad who is going through a similar phase of learning the culture and the language as it should make settling easier.
And it is good to see both players enjoying their successes after they wrapped up their first Premier League titles.
De Gea has had a fantastic season this year on so many levels and his individual performances saw him named in the PFA Team of the Year. But it is the measure of his growth that has been the most impressive part of his season now that critics are being forced to eat humble pie after jumping on his back in his first year at United.
Kagawa hasn’t had a bad first year in the Premier League either and he has settled in well. The Japanese playmaker has had his moments of brilliance like his hat-trick against Norwich and his double assist against West Ham, and going into next season we all hope we can see that on a more regular basis.
