Angelo Henriquez may have had minimal game time since leaving Manchester United on loan to Wigan since January with the Chilean only getting a few minutes on the pitch.
But it doesn’t seem to have affected his goalscoring ability as he netted a brilliant hat-trick of headers on international duty with Chile’s U20s against Tahiti in a 7-0 victory. His positioning and accuracy are phenomenally good.
For someone so small, he has an incredible talent for scoring headers much like Javier Hernandez has. The first goals he scored with United’s U21s were headers as well.
Scoring a hat-trick is good preparation for the 20-year-old with the U20 World Cup in Turkey coming up later this month where Chile have been placed in a group with Egypt, Iraq and England where he may well face up against team-mate Michael Keane.
He has already lifted silverware this season with Wigan and if he continues to score like this, then Chile will have a great chance of winning.
