Donald Love has been handed his first professional contract with Manchester United.
The 18-year-old had an impressive season with the U18s and has been rewarded for his efforts with a contract.
And speaking to SNTV about the deal, Love admitted he was delighted to have taken the next step towards becoming a first team player at Old Trafford.
“I am over the moon to have signed a professional contract with United and I know if I continue to work hard and keep learning, anything can happen,” he said.
“Hopefully I can progress with Scotland also, where injury has forced me out of recent games.”
The Scotland U19 international is a versatile right-back and he made 24 appearances for the U18s last season, scoring one screamer along the way in the teams 4-3 defeat to Burnley in the FA Youth Cup.
