Manchester United’s latest signing Guillermo Varela looks set to be loaned out to Argentina’s Boca Juniors after their secretary Jose Requejo confirmed the deal was ‘90% complete’.
The 20-year-old right-back had a great summer with Uruguay coming runners-up behind France in the U20 World Cup and he looked ready to try and stake his claim on United’s right-back spot.
But it seems that Varela will go out on loan before he gets his chance to impress with United’s first team.

It would certainly be a great experience for him given how passionate the Argentinian football fans are.
His old club Penarol’s youth president Rodolfo Catino sat down with The Peoples Person to discuss his prospects with United next season but it looks like the will be spending it out in Argentina with Boca Juniors.
