VIDEO: Rio Ferdinand tribute – A Red decade

by Sam Peoples

Rio Ferdinand has played 432 games for Manchester United since joining from Leeds United in 2002 and has worked his way into United’s top 20 all-time appearance list.

During that time, the 34-year-old has established himself as one of United’s finest ever centre backs and he will walk out on 9 August against Sevilla in his testimonial to commemorate his achievements at Old Trafford.

From scoring an injury time winner against Liverpool at the Stretford End to lifting the UEFA Champions League in Moscow, Ferdinand has been with United through their most successful period in history and has been an integral part of all of it.

To celebrate that, the ever impressive @Aditya_Reds has made a great video to get yourself in the mood for his testimonial on 9 August. Take a look.
