Shinji Kagawa’s preparations for the start of the Premier League season have gone great so far and the Japanese playmaker has continued his form with a poachers goal against Uruguay in an international friendly.
The 24-year-old enjoyed World Cup qualification with Japan before taking part in the Confederations Cup in Brazil where he shone as one of Japan’s brightest players. He then joined up with the United squad on the Japan leg of the pre-season tour before being given extra time off.
Last season, he admitted that he wasn’t fully fit for the start of the Premier League but this year, he has had a full pre-season under his belt and looks ready to hit the ground running.
If there is one player that fans want to see improve this year, it is Kagawa. He settled well in his debut season at the club but now that he has had time to settle, we all hope that we can see the sort of devastating form that made Kagawa one of the best players in the Bundesliga for two seasons in a row.
