Three Manchester United officials have travelled to Spain in order to complete the €36 million payment for the transfer of Ander Herrera according to multiple reports.
The 24-year-old looks set to complete his move to Manchester United now that the release clause will soon hopefully be deposited. It will then be a case of Herrera completing a medical before his move to Old Trafford can be finalised.
As of yet, it is unknown whether the medical will take place in Spain or England but the flight from the Basque country would take approximately two hours, leaving very little time for it to be completed if it were to be done in England.

With less than four hours left, Manchester United do not have much time left to wrap up deals for Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini but there is hope given that United have experience of completing deals late in the past.
We have done some of our biggest deals right at the end of the transfer window with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov both joining on deadline day, so fans are hoping that United can strike similarly late deals for Herrera and Fellaini.
Update: AS have since reported that United’s officials have left without paying Herrera’s release clause because of some more paperwork that needs to be completed.
Man Utd's reps have just left the LFP offices without leaving Herrera's buy-out clause, apparently they need to sort out more paperwork.
