James Wilson and Ben Pearson have been named in England’s Under-19s squad to face Slovenia next month by coach Noel Blake.
Wilson scored on his Under-19s debut against Estonia a few weeks ago and if he features against Slovenia, it will be his first competitive game for the Under-19s.
Wilson is on an incredible goalscoring run right now. He netted United’s dramatic winner in a thrilling 4-3 UEFA Youth League victory over Bayer Leverkusen last week and has already netted five times for United’s U18s this season.
Pearson, United’s Academy Player of the Year from 2012/13, has also been named in the squad that will meet up for the trip on Saturday 5 October before flying to Slovenia two days later.
