Rafael has hailed Shinji Kagawa’s one touch style of football as ‘Japanese magic’ ahead of Manchester United’s game against Shakhtar Donetsk later today.
Both players travelled with the squad and Rafael uploaded a picture to his Instagram when the team landed in Ukraine praising Kagawa’s style of football, something Rafael can appreciate given his roots back in Brazil.
The 24-year-old had a decent half against West Brom at the weekend to make his second start in a row for United but he is yet to show the ‘Japanese magic’ in full flow.
But the signs are there that he is close to turning a leaf, something all United fans are excited about.
There was a reason the £17 million signing was one of the best players in the Bundesliga and hopefully it is just a matter of time before the Japanese magic happens at Old Trafford.
David Moyes is yet to give him a run of consistent games but having made two starts within a week, the signs are there that Moyes is ready to give Kagawa a real opportunity to stake his claim at a regular starting spot for United.
