Ten Manchester United players have been called up to the England squads today.

Six have made it into the senior squad for their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Montenegro, while four have been called up into the U21s.

Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones have all made Roy Hodgson’s squad.

Nick Powell, Wilfried Zaha, Jesse Lingard and Michael Keane have all made Gareth Southgate’s squad.

All six full internationals were included in England’s squad that faced Moldova and Ukraine in the last set of qualifiers. Ashley Young has been dropped following his poor form.

David Moyes will want his players to have a successful international break but the prerogative will be to have everybody return from international duty injury free.

England face Montenegro on 11 October and Poland on 15 October knowing that two victories will see them qualify for Brazil as group winners.
