Moyes: Januzaj is good enough to start every week for Man United

David Moyes has lavished praise on Adnan Januzaj ahead of Manchester United’s game against Southampton tomorrow by saying he is good enough to play for United every week.

The 18-year-old’s match winning performance against Sunderland last weekend may have played him into the starting line-up tomorrow but Moyes admitted that no player at United can be guaranteed football every week, no matter how good they are.

“I don’t think anybody plays every week for Manchester United,” he told reporters today acccording to the Daily Star.

“We have enough players to rotate the squad.

“Adnan is 18, does anyone expect him to play every week? Is he good enough?

“The answer is yes.”

Januzaj may want to play every week but given that United have the likes of Shinji Kagawa and Wilfried Zaha who both want to get chances of their own, Moyes has to do a fine balancing a squad full of players who want to play.

As of yet, Januzaj’s future is yet to be decided but he gave a strong indication in an interview with Kosovan television yesterday that he wants to stay at United which is great news.
