Manchester United have been drawn against Olympiakos in the UEFA Champions Round of 16.
The clubs last met in the group stage 11 years ago and United won both games so history is on David Moyes’ side.
United went through as group winners after an undefeated run of six games and deservedly won top spot which allowed us to avoid the big names in European football at this stage while Olympiakos finished second behind Paris St Germain as they pipped SL Benfica to second spot.
It is a great draw for United who avoided a long trip to Russia against Zenit St Petersburg, although Greece is still a fairly long trip.
However, Moyes will look at this as a perfect game to introduce him to the knock-out stage as he looks to remain unbeaten in the Champions League.
The first leg of the round of 16 will be played between 18-26 February and the second leg will be played between 11-19 March.
