David de Gea – De Gea may well start all the Christmas games with less need for rest than his other outfield team mates.
Rafael – Rafael’s form in the last few games has been excellent and he will want to continue that against Hull on Boxing Day.
Chris Smalling – With Phil Jones pushed up in midfield, Chris Smalling has had a chance to impress at centre-back and a solid performance against West Ham last weekend means he may well continue there.
Jonny Evans – Evans and Smalling have created an impressive partnership, something that may continue to keep the likes of Nemanja Vidic out of the team.
Antonio Valencia – The inclusion of Valencia can be expected as Moyes looks to keep the in-form partnership going with him and Rafael on the right.
Tom Cleverley – Cleverley is set to start this fixture with Ryan Giggs likely to come in two days later against Norwich.
Phil Jones – Jones is expected to partner Cleverley as Moyes looks to keep the form central midfield partnership going.
Ashley Young – Two goals in two games for Young and signs of improved form mean the English winger will be trying to claim a starting berth on Boxing Day.
Wayne Rooney – After failing to appear in the League Cup last week, Rooney should be refreshed for the busy Christmas period.
Danny Welbeck– His injury against West Ham was only a contact one so he will be fit to start.
