David Moyes has admitted that one or two players could leave Manchester United on loan this January.
Anderson has already completed a move to Fiorentina for the rest of the season and Moyes’ confirmation that some others could follow might see Fabio and Wilfried Zaha leave in order to get some first team football.
“We may yet send one or two more players out on loan before the end of January,” Moyes confirmed to United Review.
United are in talks with Freiburg over a deal for Fabio and Zaha has been heavily linked with a move to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Cardiff. He was spotted at Bridgewater Hospital today to further increase speculation he could leave in January.
Both players haven’t been given the first team opportunities they would have hoped for this season and in that respect, a loan move could be beneficial.
On the flip side, they could still have a role to play for United this season if Moyes sees fit to keep them but by the sounds of it, that might not be the case.
