Wilfried Zaha has been spotted at Bridgewater Hospital today as speculation grows that he is to join Cardiff City on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old’s slow start to life as a Manchester United player has been well documented by the press and many see a loan move as the right way for him to get first team experience in the Premier League.
David Moyes has insisted that that he would consider allowing Zaha out on loan if he had Ashley Young and Nani fully fit again. Young’s inclusion against Chelsea was one step towards that and Nani is undergoing rehabilitation to help on his hamstring problem to bring him back as soon as possible.
I still think that Zaha could do a job for United this season given how poor our wingers but Moyes clearly feels he isn’t yet ready for regular Premier League action for United, and a loan move to work under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer certainly wouldn’t do him any harm.
