Wilfried Zaha is at England’s training camp St. George’s Park for his medical ahead of a loan deal to Cardiff City for the rest of the season.
According to Sky Sports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Cardiff will pay a £1.5 million fee in order to take Zaha on loan.
The 21-year-old has endured a very frustrating time in his first six months as a United player and this loan spell is an opportunity for him to spread his wings in the Premier League, something he didn’t get up in Manchester.
Why did he not get much game time under David Moyes? We’ll be taking a look into the reasons later today and unfortunately for Zaha, it looks like it may have been, in part, his own doing but hopefully he sees this move as a huge opportunity to show Moyes what he is missing.
Wouldn’t it be the height of irony if Zaha was involved in a successful survival push with Cardiff if it was at the expense of Crystal Palace?
