Wilfried Zaha has now taken part in his first training session at Cardiff City this afternoon and took to Instagram to show a picture of him in his new Cardiff colours.
Strangely, neither Manchester United or Cardiff have confirmed Zaha’s deal yet but as he has now already taken part in first team training, the announcecment is surely only a formality.
Earlier this week, Zaha admitted that all he wanted to do was play football and he wasn’t getting the opportunities he wanted under David Moyes, so has gone to play under Solskjaer where hopefully he can get those chances.
Crystal Palace fans aren’t too pleased at seeing Zaha go to Cardiff instead of them but Moyes clearly felt that the opportunity to play under the guidance of Solskjaer was the right place for him.
At Cardiff, there is a real United presence now as Zaha has joined Fabio and ex-Reds Mats Moller Daehli and Magnus Wolff Eikrem as well as Fraizer Campbell in the squad.
Now, his focus is going to be on helping Cardiff avoid relegation and that will no doubt help him build up his mental strength, something which was questioned by his ex-manager Ian Holloway recently.
Zaha could potentially go straight into Cardiff’s starting line-up to face Norwich this weekend.
