Wilfried Zaha has completed his loan move to Cardiff City today where he will stay until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old will now get the chance to play regular first team football in the Premier League and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that Zaha will be able to help provide the spark for Cardiff in the final third that they have been missing.
Speaking about Zaha in his press conference, he said: “Zaha’s got pace, power, technical ability, skills and goes past people.
“He’ll give us that extra bit that can change the tempo in the last third we really need. Up until the last 25 yards against United, we were excellent but we missed that final bit of magic in the final third. He’ll definitely provide that.
“I don’t think he has got something to prove because he just wants to play football and enjoy it. He has been sat on the bench and only played a few games but that’s not what he hoped for when he went.
“Now he just wants to find himself, play football with confidence and help Cardiff stay in the league.”
It will be exciting to see what Zaha does on loan at Cardiff because he should be able to hit the ground running straight away under the guidance of Solskjaer. For United, it represents the perfect chance to see what he can do in the rigours of the Premier League.
