Wilfried Zaha intends to become a fans’ favourite at Cardiff City and has vowed to give his all in every game to make sure he can achieve that.
Zaha’s man of the match performance was what United had hoped to see all year from him when given the opportunity to impress but it wasn’t to be.
Now that he is at Cardiff, Zaha wants to give his all on the loan spell in the hope that he could play more regular football with United.
“I was just glad to get on. We needed the crowd to help and the noise the fans made helped to push us on,” he said according to Sky Sports.
“I’m happy. I hope to be one of the fans’ favourites. Every game I came on I will give it my all.”
Zaha’s performance led to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer labelling Zaha as a player who can have a similar impact to Cristiano Ronaldo if he has the right attitude to make the most from his talents. High praise indeed.
Fans have still been left scratching their heads as to the reasons Zaha hasn’t had more opportunities this season but if he can now turn this Cardiff loan into a platform to improve, there’s every reason he’d already be in the first team squad at United come next year.
