Paris St Germain want Januzaj to follow Moura in £40 million deal

Paris St Germain are lining up a £40 million bid to try to lure Adnan Januzaj away from Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

Januzaj was the subject of a bid from PSG in January according to reports and certainly would have attracted attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs this season after his fantastic displays.

The 18-year-old has previously stated he is happy to spend his whole career with United but that wouldn’t stop PSG from making a bid.

United were on the verge of signing Lucas Moura back in 2012 before a big money bid from PSG blew us out of the water as we were unable to financially compete with their offer – could they be preparing to take another talented teenager away from Old Trafford?

When questioned about a PSG bid for Januzaj, David Moyes was completely dismissive at the prospect of him leaving United and insisted he was central to his plans for building a new United side.

He said: “I think you have been listening to too much speculation.

“Adnan is very much part of what we are doing and it will continue to be that way.”

Januzaj has got a real star quality that is rare in a footballer and he has been the most exciting player to watch this season which is why the speculation will always continue and why United and Moyes need to make sure he stays at the club. PSG can take their money elsewhere.
