Ezequiel Garay is a player who has been linked with Manchester United for what seems like an eternity and it looks like somebody has taken it one step further by changing his current club on Wikipedia to Manchester United (although, no number is currently aside).
Has Garay joined quietly under the radar? I doubt it. As of right now, he is an SL Benfica player.
The 27-year-old told the press that he was close to securing a deal to join Old Trafford before David Moyes came in and stopped an end to all of that but it hasn’t stopped rumours continuing all season.
Zenit have also been credited with a strong interest in Garay and the Russian transfer window is still open for another ten days meaning a move could certainly happen.
For now, Garay is not a Manchester United player and although it seems unlikely that Moyes will want to move for a player he rejected the year before, United will be in some need of defensive organisation from the first to last whistle because of the impending departures of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.
