Manchester United transfer news: Interesting Kroos update and Carvalho closer to exit

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has warned clubs that no player, including Toni Kroos, will be able to exert power over Bayern and that no player will be able to leave without their full consent – meaning that Kroos’ position could become untenable in Germany. (IB Times)

Joleon Lescott is out of contract in the summer so he has now been linked with a potential move to Manchester United. The fact he worked and succeeded David Moyes previously is reason to believe that this move isn’t entirely out of the question. (talkSPORT)

Sporting Lisbon’s 19-year-old Carlos Mane has not been linked with Manchester United this year at all but reports suggest Moyes was also interested in him when he looked on from the stands this week and saw him score the only goal. (Sky Sports)
