Robin van Persie, Marouane Fellaini and Shinji Kagawa all participated in full training yesterday ahead of Manchester United’s game against Crystal Palace.
David Moyes did not give any clues in his pre-match press conference as to what players would be fit for the Palace game, so it was good to see the trio out at training.
RVP hasn’t found his best form this year but following the break to Dubai, his fitness should have improved and that has been his main problem.
The same goes for Fellaini who has still not returned from his wrist surgery and groin injury, but he could well make that return today which could be a real boost for United.
As for Kagawa, there was no indication that he had any injury but because of his lack of involvement, there are a lot of question marks surrounding him right now. The fact he is fit means he could play against Palace but whether he does or not remains to be seen, Moyes clearly doesn’t have a soft spot for him.
With all these players edging closer to fitness, our squad is getting stronger but with a few players still on the sidelines, we are not yet at full strength.
