PICTURE: RVP shows he’s happy with Manchester United’s coaches to dispel rumours

Much has been said about Robin van Persie‘s fitness this season and Manchester United’s coaching staff have taken the brunt of that blame from the press.

However, Van Persie has just sent out as strong a message as you can get that he is happy with United’s coaches with a picture sitting next to United’s fitness coach Tony Strudwick on the way to Greece, calling him a ‘legend’.

Van Persie knew what he was doing when he sent out that picture. He hasn’t been living under a rock, he has seen the press attack Moyes’ training methods. Van Persie was showing his support and dispelling the rumours that he was unhappy with United’s coaching staff this season.

From a fans’ perspective, Van Persie’s public appraisal of Strudwick is great to see because it shows he is enjoying himself again at United and following his goal against Crystal Palace, there is every chance he could go on a goalscoring run from here until the end of the season. Hopefully, he can hold his fitness and make it happen.
