Shinji Kagawa and Rafael both trained ahead of Manchester United’s game against Olympiacos tomorrow which is good news for David Moyes.
Although Kagawa hasn’t been injured, his importance in the squad is likely to come to the fore in the Champions League because Juan Mata isn’t eligible, so it is crucial that Kagawa is fit and ready to play.
As for Rafael, his return is needed because Chris Smalling really isn’t a natural right back.
There was also a return to training for Danny Welbeck who has been absent in recent weeks due to an injury which is good news for him and the squad because prior to his injury, he was in great form. It isn’t yet known whether Welbeck travelled with the squad to Greece.
