Nine Manchester United players called up for England duty including Zaha

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United have had nine players in total called up to represent England at senior and Under-21 level next week.

Smalling, Carrick, Cleverley, Rooney and Welbeck have been called up the senior squad while Lingard, Zaha, Johnstone and Keane are the four players called up for the Under-21s.

Roy Hodgson’s continued faith in Cleverley will hopefully help him improve while a call up for Zaha for the Under-21s is another chance for him to impress and show he has progressed on loan with Cardiff.
