Rafael has taken to his Instagram account to get Manchester United fans pumped up for the game against West Brom later today.
So long as he is fit to return to the starting XI, Rafael is a shoe-in to start at right-back ahead of the makeshift Chis Smalling who would be moved back to centre-back.
Rafael’s performances have dipped dramatically in comparison to how good they were last season. A series of niggling injuries have really stopped him gaining any momentum and in the games he has played, he has never been at his very best.
However, West Brom should be another chance for him to show the real Rafael again and if Manchester United are to mount a successful end to the season, every single player is going to need to start playing better sooner rather than later – Rafael included.
Following the departure of his brother, Rafael has been linked with a move away from Manchester United but most fans would hate to see him leave.
Despite that, hardly any player is safe at United right now and Rafael needs to prove to Moyes with a strong performance he is more then capable of replicating last season’s form on a regular basis.
