In a season where he hasn’t been able to enjoy himself much on the pitch at Manchester United, Shinji Kagawa’s 25th birthday finally gave him something to celebrate.
Despite the fact he has had so little to be happy about football wise, it clearly hasn’t stopped Kagawa from keeping upbeat and positive about the situation.
Kagawa had to watch from the bench as Liverpool dismantled Manchester United 3-0 and it would have been frustrating for him not only because of how badly United needed a player like him to start creating chances, but due to his impressive cameo against West Brom in the last game.
In that game, he came on and helped United see out a comfortable win away from home but David Moyes chose not to use him against Liverpool for whatever reason.
Hopefully, between now and the end of the season, Moyes follows through on his promise to play Kagawa more often because if he doesn’t, a summer exit looks on the cards.
