Shinji Kagawa has thanked Manchester United fans for their support in St James’ Park after a great individual performance.
The Japanese playmaker was in fantastic form. He got one assist but was heavily involved in all of Manchester United’s attacking play going forward.
Alongside Juan Mata, the duo sparkled once again and pretty much every time they have started alongside each other, Manchester United have played some really slick football.
Speaking on his official Instagram and Twitter accounts, Kagawa said: “Good win today, great team effort. Thanks for your great support. Looking forward to next game!”
It’s no coincidence that Manchester United play their best football when Kagawa and Mata play together. David Moyes needs to play both of them from the start more often.
