Juan Mata gets what it takes to be a Manchester United player.
Plenty of players come in and walk the walk but when it comes to talking the talk, it doesn’t come naturally to everyone but Mata has really grasped what Manchester United means. There’s an ethos to the club that stems from our foundations and tradition and is happy to spend his time learning about it.
This week, he paid a visit to our museum alongside Paddy Crerand to learn about the history of the club, what has happened in years gone by that has made it what it is and he enjoyed it.
All season long, Mata has always said the right things in the right way. After only three months as a United player, he seems to know more about what it means to play for the club than David Moyes does.
As well as that, Mata’s got a more than impressive moonwalk on him (via @beardedgenius)
Also, he’s got a pretty endearing beard and smile combination going on…
What’s not to like about Mata?
