Steve Round and Jimmy Lumsden have both left Manchester United after agreeing severance packages, according to Sky Sports.
Both coaches were brought in by David Moyes this summer as part of a backroom reshuffle but have now followed Moyes out of Old Trafford after he was sacked by the club this morning.
Their departure was an inevitability as soon as Moyes’ departure was announced and it means that under interim boss Ryan Giggs, United will have a new assistant manager and first team coach.
Phil Neville will stay on as United’s first team coach while Nicky Butt has been singled out as Giggs’ potential assistant manager.
More to follow.
