Eric Harrison spoke to Ryan Giggs this morning and told talkSPORT how the Welshman was ‘absolutely buzzing’ ahead of training.
Harrison was the coach who helped mould Manchester United’s Class of ’92 and with Giggs, Scholes, Butt and Phil Neville now back at Carrington, the only absentees are Beckham and Gary Neville.
The sense of excitement when Manchester United confirmed that Scholes and Butt were back on the training ground was palpable among fans, and it seemsthe feeling was shared by Giggs too.
“I spoke to Ryan this morning and he is absolutely buzzing,” he said.
“He is going to take Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt with him – the three musketeers.
“It will certainly be a different atmosphere in training and at Old Trafford and the fans will buy into it. As soon as Ryan walks out the tunnel, the place will erupt.”
Old Trafford has been the scene for most of Manchester United’s poor performances this season but defiantly, the atmosphere has remained loud and proud regardless of the results but when Giggs, Scholes and Butt walk out of the tunnel against Norwich, the noise inside Old Trafford will reach the right kind of fever pitch.
