Toni Kroos was in Champions League action last night in Bayern Munich’s 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old was given the full 90 minutes by Pep Guardiola but was unable to help Bayern overcome a resilient Madrid in Spain.
After the game, Bundesliga journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft took the opportunity to speak with Kroos and nudged him in the right direction by jokingly suggesting that he should give an interview to MUTV.
Made an interview with Toni Kroos tonight. After we were finished I told him to do an interview with "Manchester United TV"-he took the joke

Fjortoft might have been pulling Kroos’ leg on this occasion but it isn’t the first time that he has mentioned Manchester United to Kroos.
After the game at Old Trafford, he probed Kroos with questions about Old Trafford and got a great answer from the in-demand midfielder.
Me:How did you like Old Trafford?
Kroos:Liked it a lot.Great atmosphere
Me:The chances u will play a LOT more here
He:Future I decide later

Is Fjortoft a United fan in disguise or does he just enjoy fuelling the rumour mill with Kroos? Regardless, he has at least kept Kroos thinking about United one way or another.
Next time, Fjortoft should slip Kroos a one way plane ticket to Manchester…
