The League Managers Association have released a statement confirming that Manchester United has reached an agreement with David Moyes with regards to a settlement package.
Although no figures have been discussed, report suggest Moyes is set to receive a £4.5 million payout and that he would not get paid out on the full six year contract because of a performance based clause that was triggered after Manchester United failed to qualify for the Champions League.
The statement read: “The League Managers Association and Manchester United are pleased to confirm that terms of settlement have been agreed between the Club and David Moyes in respect of the termination of his employment.
“A settlement agreement is in the process of being finalised. No further comment will be made in relation to this issue.”
