As if by magic, so soon after saying it had all gone quiet with regards to Toni Kroos, Jan Aage Fjortoft has boldly claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson is in talks with Kroos’ agent over a move to Manchester United.
At the weekend, Ferguson was spotted sitting next to a man at Old Trafford who looked like Sascha Breese, a member of the Sports Total agency who represents Kroos, which sent rumours wild.
Since then, Sports Total denied the man was Breese but these fresh claims from Fjortoft from a “Dutch insider” say that something is going on behind the scenes.
This is not the first time this season that Ferguson has reportedly been involved with transfers as according to the press, Ferguson also contacted Paris St Germain and Laurent Blanc over the availability of Edinson Cavani.

In all honesty, it would be a smart move for Ferguson and Gill to get involved behind the scenes with transfers. Ed Woodward was just as out of his depth as David Moyes was last year but he is still in a job.
All season, Fjortoft has been the reporter who has asked Kroos the questions we all want answered and after the game against Real Madrid tonight, he’ll probably oblige by doing it again.
