William Carvalho is already a Manchester United player if previous reports are to be believed but as nothing has been confirmed by either club, he remains available this summer.
The 21-year-old has long been considered Manchester United’s primary midfield target this summer having been watched by our scouts on more than 12 occasions but now, Inter Milan have entered the frame.
There are suggestions from Italy and Portugal that Carvalho is considered a dream buy for Inter and that they will compete with Manchester United for his signature.
If it is a straight choice between Manchester United and Inter Milan, surely there’s only one winner? United may have fallen from grace this season but it is the first time it has happened in two decades. Inter have been on the downward slope since Jose Mourinho left and look no closer to recovering.
Given how good Carvalho has been this season, it would be foolish to think that there are not other clubs who are going to want to sign him but while interest from Inter would place some doubt over Carvalho’s move, United should still be confident of landing him.
